Right-of-Way Phase

Right-of-Way plans for the is project have been completed and the right of way phase has begun. Property owners will be contacted by appraisers and Right-of-Way Agents over the next several months. For any question concerning this process please contact KYTC District 7 Right-of-Way Staff. A link to the latest plans set can be found below.

Preferred Alternate

The project team has selected Alternate 3 as the preferred alternate. The project team will now progress with final design of that alternate. Working out the details on a project of this size will take some time. We anticipate having right-of-way plans ready in November 2016. We will be completing some geotechnical drilling and more surveying before then. The construction of the new roadway is currently scheduled for 2018, with the right-of-way phase and utility relocations occurring in 2017.
